Steering Committee
- A Steering Committee has been set up with W3C/WAI as permanent guest :
- AEGEAN (The Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of
the University, Greece)
- Bartimeus - Accessibility Foundation (Netherlands)
- BrailleNet Association (France)
- FIT (The Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology,
Germany)
- RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind, UK)
- Fundación Sidar (Spain)
- Fundosa Teleservicios S.A (Spain)
- Its role is to ensure :
- the consortium functions from day to day,
- and that strategic actions are started at appropriate times.
- The BrailleNet Association (France) has been nominated as its chair for
2003.
- The Steering Committee meets about twice a month via a phone/IRC
conference.
