Task Forces
- A Task Force (TF) is a subgroup (group of EA Consortium Members and/or
Technical Partners).
- It is working on a topic relating to Web Accessibility.
- There are technical TF (their work is public) and administrative ones
(their work is not public).
- Each Task Force has its own rules.
- All technical discussions need to be coordinated with W3C/WAI, and
transparent to others working in the field.
- 5 Task Forces have been set up in July 2003 :
- TF1: customer needs (a methodology for continuous assessment of
market needs)
- TF2: tools for evaluation/certification (a methodology to evaluate
tools and their results)
- TF3: methods for evaluation/certification (collating and analysis
of methods)
- TF4: certification authority (legal status, validation process,
...)
- TF5: exploring the funding mechanisms and writing proposal(s)
(special goal: European
FP6 IST Call for Proposal in October 2003)
